Solo Art Exhibit
My first ever solo art exhibit is at Red Butte Garden. This is something I have been dreaming of, and it is happening!!!
From Sego to Sunflower:
A Look at Utah Native Plants
The exhibit runs from January 17-March 4
It’s a long time to have my paintings up on display, and I couldn’t be more proud and humbled by this opportunity.
Aspen Fleabane and Sedge in watercolor
The opening reception is January 18
from 2-5 pm
I will have refreshments to share.
Paintings of Sego lilies and different stages of a sunflowers life cycle are among the plants represented. My painting of the endangered Dwarf Bearclaw Poppy will be on display. Along with those, more common plants like Woods Rose and Silvery Lupine as well as edibles like Serviceberry and Woodland Strawberry will be there. I wish I could list everything that will be there, but I haven’t finished painting them all yet.
