Exhibitions

I have been working on paintings to submit for various exhibitions. I completed the Biological soil crust painting, which is waiting to be sent to New York Botanic Gardens for the ASBA’s Curious Allies traveling exhibit bit will also go to Tucson Botanic Gardens, and the Bell Museum in St Paul, Minnesota.

Botanical illustration of Biological Soil Crust from Washington County, Utah. A colorful and lumpy clump of soil made up of lichens, moss, soil, with a tiny small leaf globe mallow protected in a crack.

My Prickly Poppies are going to be in the Certain Women art show at JKR Gallery in Provo, Ut.

I submitted my Dwarf Bear Poppies painting to the Springville Spring Salon, a series of three springbeauties on vellum to the SBA’s online exhibition, my pearly everlasting to the ASBA’s Celebrating Pearl catalog, and am working on a two part series of hairy clematis I plan to submit to the ASBA’s Annual Exhibition. It is a bit nerve wracking to wait and see if my work is accepted.
