A New Studio

I outgrew my little studio that shared a space with the laundry room. It was big enough for me to create, but not for all the business related stuff, and definitely not for teaching. My husband and I traded spaces, and now I have space to display my original artwork, and hold classes in my studio.

It has been a bit of a process to get everything put together and organized, but it is mostly there now.

In addition to a new studio space, I am getting a new (to me) flat file cabinet. I’m lucky to have a friend who owns an old foundry that just happened to have a very dirty and quite old one sitting around that he didn’t need. I brought it home, spend half a day cleaning it, then painted it. My husband generously offered to make a base for it, so it can be used as an extra surface to work on. I am over the moon excited about this addition.
