Citrus fruits are a most welcome guest in my winter kitchen
This is every variety of citrus I could purchase in Utah in the cold of winter. Limes, navel orange, meyer lemon, clementine, minneola tangelo, and ruby red grapefruit. Pulling them out of the shopping bag felt like pouring a bag of jewels out onto the table. I felt rich as I turned them over in my hands and cut into them with a knife or my fingers and the sweet and sour smell sprayed into the air. Lemon is definitely my favorite to cook with. Lemon bars, lemon chicken, pico de gallo, greek salad, and more.
