Bur Oak Leaf and Acorn

Quercus macrocarpa

I have a Bur oak growing in my garden. I planted it several years ago, and it has done very well. These are slow growing trees, and don’t have particularly showy autumn leaves, but are absolutely beautiful shade trees. These are not native to Utah, but do well in landscapes here.

I planted this tree with hope the future owners of my home cherish this majestic tree.
