Pearly Everlasting is on of many Utah native plants that host the Painted Lady Butterfly.

It grows in mountain meadows and prairies. Pearly Everlasting has been used by native peoples for medicine to read sores, colds, and rheumatism. It has even been used as a tobacco substitute.
